Teresa Moore, a fundraising and communications professional with more than 30 years’ experience, is president of Moore Ink. She provides personal attention to each client and leads all strategic development and implementation.
After 10 years as a newspaper reporter covering political affairs in Texas and Louisiana, Teresa Moore began her work in public relations at the Texas State Department of Education. She headed to the Pacific Northwest to manage communications and PR for the Washington Education Association, where she worked for more than nine years. After serving as Vice President/Corporate Communications for Premera Blue Cross, she launched Moore Ink. in June 1999.
Teresa served on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Development Officers Association (now AFP Advancement Northwest) from 2010 to 2013, serving as VP/Membership in the last two years. She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in political science from the University of Texas at Dallas and has won more than two dozen national, state and regional awards for public relations and writing.
Teresa presents frequently to nonprofit managers and leaders on many topics related to fundraising and communications. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, movies, reading and hanging out with friends and her husband, Mike, and lovable miniature schnauzer, Lily (see more about Mike, Lily and her doggy predecessors on the main Staff page).
